Being a Benefit Corporation is more than just a title — it embodies our dedication to a shared mission of transparency, ethical action, and continuous improvement. Beyond legal compliance, we adhere to voluntary standards and obtain certifications that validate our impact and guide our ongoing journey.
Since 2013, the SA8000 certification has shaped our path, pushing us to pursue higher standards in health, safety, and environmental matters, further recognized by ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 certifications. Most recently, we obtained the Gender Equality Certification, which not only celebrates a workforce that is more than 80% female but also aims to empower both women and men working within the company.
The acknowledgment of our legal rating by the Italian Competition Authority (AGCM) further highlights the values upon which Pellemoda is built.
Our certifications reflect long-standing principles, not mere objectives. They affirm our commitment to ethical practices and openness toward stakeholders. Through our annual sustainability report, we transparently share the progress made, reaffirming our commitment to a sustainable collective future.

Governance
Integrity is the foundation of everything we do at Pellemoda. Our Code of Ethics guides every level of our organization—from our Board of Directors to employees, partners, and subcontractors—ensuring high ethical standards across all operations.
In line with the ethical standards of our clients, we adhere to and support their Codes of Conduct as well. To further strengthen our commitment to responsibility, we have implemented the Organizational, Management, and Control Model in compliance with Legislative Decree 231/01, affirming our dedication to responsible and transparent governance.

Environment
Environmental protection is a core value for Pellemoda, reinforced by our ISO 14001 certification. We actively monitor and improve our environmental performance, working closely with clients and suppliers to promote sustainable practices.
The awareness that led Pellemoda to become a Benefit Corporation extends to all environmental matters.
From the transition to renewable energy sources across all production sites to the pursuit of actions aimed at reducing our environmental footprint, we continuously work toward innovating the technologies we use and optimizing resource consumption. Our commitment also includes the search for green alternatives in various areas, as well as process and product innovation to promote sustainability at every level.
Supply Chain
Pellemoda is committed to complying with company policies and legal requirements throughout its entire supply chain. To manage the complexity of its network, Pellemoda has implemented a supplier evaluation procedure based on risk assessment tables, tailored to the relevance of each supplier.
To promote awareness across the supply chain and ensure compliance, we invite our suppliers to:
- Comply with SA8000, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and UNI PdR 125 standards and ensure their own suppliers do the same.
- Participate in monitoring activities.
- Promptly implement corrective actions in case of non-compliance.
Our risk management approach involves the regular collection of data on each supplier’s compliance with organizational and regulatory standards through monitoring, detailed questionnaires, and audits. Key suppliers are periodically inspected and assessed based on their compliance, guiding any necessary follow-up actions.
Through rigorous monitoring, Pellemoda demonstrates its commitment to an ESG-compliant supply chain.
